The Ambassador Mr Eduardo Araja, with the Honorary Consul in Turin, Mrs Vivien Jones S., was received by the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino. The aim of the meeting was the discussion about entrepreneurial and cultural exchanges.

A delegation from the City of Bagneux (France), led by the Representative of the Twinning Committee between the VI District of the city of Turin and the City of Bagneux, was received by the Vice President of the City Council, Michele Coppola. It was an institutional meeting related with twinning agreement between Bagneux and the VI District of the City of Turin.
The Mayor Sergio Chiamparino met a delegation from Lyon led by Mr Gilles Buna, Councillor responsible for Town Planning and Sustainable Development, attended by Mrs Veronique Billat. This delegation came in Turin within Future Cities, the initiative dedicated to the cities Turin has strong relationships with and organized with Fondazione Atrium and Torino Internazionale. During the meeting, the Planning of Strategic Development and Urban Renewal of the two cities were compared.

On the 8th June 2005, a delegation of representatives of the Regions from Czech Republic met the Secretary General of the Municipality of Turin, Adolfo Repice. The meeting dealt with the discussion of issues concerning the institutional activities of the Secretariat General.
Signature of the twinning agreement between Turin and Nagoya, during the Aichi 2005 Universal Expo and the Festival of the Twin Cities of Nagoya. The program of the City of Turin's mission in Japan , led by the Mayor Chiamparino (26-31 May 2005) includes various presentations in Nagoya, and a promotional presentation in Tokyo (31 May 2005).
The Mayor Sergio Chiamparino met a delegation from Vancouver, in Turin for the 'Future Cities' program, an initiative dedicated to the cities Turin has important relations with, and organised in collaboration with Fondazione Atrium and Torino Internazionale. The delegation was led by Jim Green, Deputy Mayor of the City of Vancouver, and was particularly interested by the Olympic themes, as Vancouver will host the 2010 Olympics.
A delegation from the City of Harbin, led by the Director for European Affairs Mr Cao Ru was received by representatives of the City of Turin. The theme of the meeting was technologies for environmental protection.
A delegation led by the Consul of Croatia was received by the Councillor Tom Dealessandri. The aim of the meeting was the possibility of opening a provisional consulate of the Republic of Croatia during the Winter Olympic Games.
