The Mayor of Torino, Chiamparino was received in Athens by the Mayoress Dora Bakoyanni on the occasion of his mission to the Olympic City. The two mayors discussed opportunities for future cooperation between the two cities.
The Israeli ambassador, Ehud Gol, was received by the Deputy Mayor, Marco Calgaro. The meeting was dedicated to the 2006 Olympic Winter Games.
