Fondata da Daniel Yeung, y.d.ARTer è un’organizzazione nata per diversi progetti di collaborazione con artisti provenienti da varie discipline. Come dice il nome, il suo scopo è quello di unire media diversi secondo il background dell’artista (arter) piuttosto che rimanere confinato in una forma di lavoro per il teatro/danza. Superando un confine e ampliando la visione della creazione artistica , la "danza" è un’interfaccia tra aree diverse, e questa interfaccia è "corpo".
Daniel Yeung, coreografo, ha formato la sua compagnia y.d.ARTer nel 1999. Nello stesso anno ha curato la coreografia per il suo primo lavoro lungo di danza "Dance Exhibitionist - a paradise for natural body" per il Festival di Danza All-Independent ed è stato invitato a molti festival internazionali come il Festival Now Hong Kong, il Millennium Dance Concourse (Cina), la Biennale de la Danse (Lione) e Little Asia Dance Network a Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo e Sydney. Roy Leung, manager tecnico, ha collaborato con famosi coreografi di Hong Kong come Mui Check Yin, Yuri Ng e Daniel Yeung sia per esibizioni locali che per produzioni itineranti internazionali. Gloria Sung, assistente del manager tecnico, ha lavorato come freelance per diverse produzioni teatrali di danza, musica e arte drammatica.

Founded by Daniel Yeung, y.d.ARTer is an organization set up for various collaborative projects with artists from different disciplines. Saying it all in its name, it aims to merge different media according to the background of the artist (the arter) rather than confining itself to one form of dance/theater work. From crossing the border to broaden the vision of art creation , "dance" is an interface among different areas, and this interface is "body".
Daniel Yeung, choreographer, formed his own company y.d.ARTer in 1999. In the same year he choreographed his first full length dance work "Dance Exhibitionist - a paradise for natural body" for the All-Independent Dance Festival and was invited to participate in various international festivals such as the Festival Now Hong Kong, the Millennium Dance Concourse (China), the Biennale de la Danse (Lyon) and the Little Asia Dance Network, in Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo and Sydney. Roy Leung, technical manager, has collaborated with many famous choreographers in Hong Kong such as Mui Check Yin, Yuri Ng and Daniel Yeung for local performances as well as overseas touring productions. Gloria Sung, assistant tecnical manager, has been working freelance for different dance and music groups, as well as with drama organizations for various theater productions.
