"Energy Equals Mass Times the Speed of Light Squared", video, 1997, VHS, 5'. Il video, girato da un'unica prospettiva, mostra un ragazzo che si ritrova muto dopo essersi esercitato a ripetere la teoria della relatività generale di Einstein. Il video è stato leggermente rallentato in fase di montaggio, contrariamente all'intenzione originaria del ragazzo di ripetere l'equazione sempre più velocemente, e registrando tutti gli errori di pronuncia. L'opera, che utilizza il linguaggio come una semplice funzione fisiologica che non trasmette alcun pensiero, richiede allo spettatore di costruire il significato o magari di rendersi conto che in definitiva non esiste alcun significato.

"Energy Equals Mass Times the Speed of Light Squared", video, 1997, VHS, 5'. The video, shot from a single point, shows a young man, who ends up tongue-tied, after having trained himself to repeat Einstein's theory of General Relativity. The video has been slightly slowed down in the editing process, negating the performer's primary intention to repeat the equation faster and faster, and recording all his faulty articulations. The work, using the speech as a simply physiological function that conveys no thought at all, requires the viewer to construct the meaning or perhaps to become aware that ultimately there is no meaning.
