"Insecurity": gli scenari che ritraggo sono fotografati in una varietà di luoghi in tutto il mondo. Scegliendo di collocare la mia ricerca al di fuori del set dello studio, queste immagini sono un riconoscimento e una conferma di quel costrutto più ampio che chiamiamo società. Pur adottando la pratica del documentario fotografico attraverso un accesso negoziato a queste scene di "vita reale", non punto tuttavia a privilegiare la realtà sulla finzione, ma piuttosto a sottolineare la natura fittizia del reale. Chi sono le persone raffigurate? Vittime o carnefici? Potenti o impotenti? Reali o immaginari?

"Insecurity". The scenarios I depict are photographed at a variety of locations around the world. Choosing to locate my enquiry outside of the studio set-up, these images are a recognition and a confirmation of that wider construct which we call society. Whilst adopting the practice of documentary photography through negotiated access to these "real-life" scenes I do not, however, aim to privilege fact over fiction, but rather to highlight the fictive nature of the factual. Who are the people depicted? Victims or victimisers? Powerful or powerless? Real or imagined?
