Souvenirs . 24/12/97 Sono formata dal tempo e dai ricordi. Condividere i ricordi di qualcuno = essere in intimità con qualcuno ed essere in intimità con me stessa. Il tempo cambia tutto, come se fosse più importante di qualsiasi altra cosa, ma non lo è. I ricordi lo sono. 13/12/98 Mi ricordo dellosservatore. Mi ricordo che ero osservata. Mi ricordo della fotografia incorniciata che mi osservava, non solo me ma anche tutti gli altri bambini, ovunque fossero seduti, allo stesso tempo. Mi ricordo di tre parole in inglese che ero solita ripetere in continuazione: delusa, osservatore, osservare. Nella prima metà della mia vita cerano due parole che ricordo bene: Tito, tata (papà). "Souvenirs". 24/12/97 I am shaped by time and memories. To share my memories is to be intimate with somebody and to be intimate with myself. Time changes everything, as if it were more important than anything else, but it isn't. Memories are. 13/12/98 I remember the observer. I remember being observed. I remember the framed photograph that observed me, and not only me but all the other children as well, no matter where they sat, at the same time. I remember three English words that I used to repeat over and over again: disappointed, observer, observing. From the first half of my life there are two words that I remember well: "Tito" and "tata" (Daddy). I remember when I tried to imitate the signature on the badge… Now when I write a letter I begin with
