"One Day at Home - Stories About an Inner Journey". Abbiamo di fronte a noi le tracce fotografiche di una persona che "viaggia". Questa è la sua storia: la storia di una giornata passata in casa! Per narrarla, documenta un viaggio attraverso questa casa , cioè il suo mondo, e allo stesso tempo attraverso gli indizi che consentiranno di conoscere altri mondi, altre case. Il fatto è che sembra che conosciamo le persone attraverso dei segni, attraverso i loro oggetti e gli spazi, attraverso le misteriose immagini dei loro viaggi interiori. Attraverso intrusioni fittizie cerca di apprendere la natura della vita reale, quella che gli sembra così oscura, costringendolo a ricorrere a metodi altrettanto oscuri e sottili, per poter costruire le sue narrazioni, le sue vere storie "universali"! è nata nel 1976. Frequenta la Facoltà di Belle Arti dell’Università di Lisbona. Selezionata, per il settore della fotografia, al concorso nazionale "Jovens Criadores 99", Braga.

"One Day at Home - Stories about an Inner Journey". We have before us the photographic records of a person who "travels". This is his story, the story of a day spent at home! To tell it, he documents a journey through the house, which is to say his world, and at the same time through the clues that will allow him to know other houses, other worlds. We seem to know him the way we know people in general, through signs, through their objects and spaces, through the mysterious images of their inner journeys. Through fictitious intrusions he seeks to learn the nature of real life, the one that seems to him so obscure it forces him to resort to equally obscure and subtle methods to be able to build his narratives, his true "universal" stories! Born in 1976, Priscila Machado attends the Fine Arts School of the University of Lisbon. Selected, in the Photography area, in the national contest "Jovens Criadores 99", Braga.
