L'autore tenta di catturare un'atmosfera di terrore, senza rappresentare esplicitamente scene di sangue, per non cadere in una facile estetica della morte; cerca di capire la mente degli assassini, delle vittime e dei testimoni; cerca di essere oggettivo, e allo stesso tempo coinvolto; cerca di non prendere mai le parti di altri che non siano le vittime.
È nato nel 1964. Pseudonimo TBC. Lavora come illustratore, caricaturista ed autore di fumetti, che pubblica soprattutto sul settimanale politico sloveno "Mladina". Ha disegnato fumetti per undici anni. Ha pubblicato cinque album ("Diarrhea", "Red Alert", "Ratman", "Bosnian Tales", "Lizard on the run"). Il fumetto di favole bosniache "Fables de Bosnie" (Editions Glenat, gennaio 1999) è il suo quarto album, il primo pubblicato in Francia. Grazie ad esso si è aggiudicato il Gran Premio del Festival Sierre '99 in Svizzera, e il secondo premio Leone d'Argento del Prix du Lyon '99 a Bruxelles. A settembre è stato pubblicato in Francia il suo secondo album tradotto: "La Cavale de Lezard", Editions Glenat, settembre 1999. Attualmente sta lavorando al suo nuovo album "Europe" e al progetto "Decalogue" insieme allo scenografo Frank Giroud.

The author tries to capture the atmosphere of terror, but without the explicit scenes of killings, which could lead to a cheap esthetic of death. He tries to understand the mind of the executioners, the victims and bystanders. He tries to be objective, but yet concerned, never taking any side other than the side of the victims.
Born in 1964. Under the pseudonym of TBC, he works as an illustrator, caricaturist and comics author, publishing mostly in the Slovenian weekly political magazine "Mladina". He has been drawing comics for eleven years, publishing five albums ("Diarrhea", "Red Alert", "Ratman", "Bosnian Tales", "Lizard on the run"). The comic-book version of Bosnian tales ("Fables de Bosnie", Editions Glenat, January 1999) is his fourth album, his first published in France. It was awarded the Grand-Prix of the Festival Sierre '99 in Swiss, and second prize Silver lion of the Prix du Lyon '99 award at Brussels, Belgium. In September, his second translated album "Lizzard on the Run" was published in France ("La Cavale de Lezard", Editions Glenat, September 1999). He is currently working on his new album, "Europe", and on the project "Decalogue" with scenarist Frank Giroud.
