Influenzati dalla scena indie rock degli anni '80 e '90 e dalla grande tradizione pop del passato, gli Haircut intendono riflettere, con la loro musica, gli aspetti fondamentali dell'esistenza umana. Cedono nella musica pop il miglior modo di comunicare le esperienze più vere e profonde.
Formazione. Nicola Caleffi (voce, chitarra); Luca G. (chitarra, voce); Roberto Morselli (batteria); Laura Storchi (basso, voce). I Julie's Haircut nascono come trio nel 1994. Il gruppo ha esordito nel 1999 con il 45 giri su vinile "I'm in love with someone older than me" pubblicato dalla Gamma Pop. Quache mese dopo esce il primo album della band, "Fever in the funk house", assieme al singolo "Everyone needs someone to fuck". Influenced by the "indy" rock scene of the 80s and the 90s, and by the great pop tradition of the past, Julie's Haircut intend to reflect in their music the fundamental aspects of human existance. For them, pop music is the best way to communicate the most real and profound experiences.
