Nei miei lavori punto ad un tono lirico, ad una melanconia fragile. Lavoro facendo interagire film e architettura e per un po' di tempo ho indagato una serie di problemi che si potrebbero descrivere come la relazione tra l'esperienza e il vedere. Ho trattato lo sguardo e un modo di vedere paranoico, cerco di modificare il punto di vista dell'osservatore attraverso dei cambiamenti difficilmente percettibili. Tra l'essere visto e il vedere. La chiusura e l'apertura reale. Quello che apre lo sguardo e, in corrispondenza, quello che lo sguardo apre. Gli scenari vengono costruiti con l'aiuto di modelli architettonici, dislocamenti di film in scala. Nel divario tra finzione e realtā, il film e il modello, appare una nuova stanza. Cerco di attirare l'osservatore in questa stanza, in questa situazione privata ed auto-riflessiva. Uno stato in cui tutto ti ruota intorno.

In my works I aim at a lyrical tone, at a frail melancholy. I work with film and architecture and for some time I've been investigating a set of problems that may be described as the relationship between experience and seeing. I've dealt with gaze and a paranoid way of seeing, and I try to create shifts in the vision of the observer through hardly perceivable changes. Between being seen and to see. The closure and the very opening. That which opens the gaze and, correspondingly, that which the gaze opens. Settings are constructed with the help of architectural models and film displacements in scale. In the gap between fiction and reality, the film and the model, a new room appears. I try to entice the observer into this room, this private and self-reflective situation. A state where everything revolves around you.
