"Morte accidentale di un anarchico", dalla versione originale di Dario Fo, adattamento di Huang Jisu, regia di Meng Jinghui. In un posto di polizia, un questore e due commissari stanno interrogando un sospettato; l'interrogato, un anarchico appeso al soffitto in un sacco di iuta, viene "accidentalmente" ucciso tra percosse e torture. Il questore e i commissari si sforzano di trovare una versione dei fatti che giustifichi l'accaduto e si liberano del cadavere gettandolo dalla finestra. Il questore ha un piano: sceglie un pazzo, attualmente detenuto, come regista di una versione dei fatti che possa scagionare la polizia. Meng Jinghui, il regista, ha 35 anni e, con un master di regia all'Accademia Centrale di Arte Drammatica di Pechino, è il più noto regista cinese della nuova generazione. Collabora da anni con il Central Experimental Theatre Company. Le sue regie più famose comprendono "La cantatrice calva" di Ionesco, "Aspettando Godot", di Beckett, "Il balcone", di Genet, "Woyzek" di Büchner. L'Accademia, che dipende direttamente dal Ministero della Cultura della Repubblica Popolare di Cina, è stata fondata nel 1956. "The Accidental Death of an Anarchist", from the original version by Dario Fo, adaptation by Huang Jisu, directed by Meng Jinghui. In a police station the superintendant and two inspectors are interrogating a suspect. The suspect, an anarchist they have hung from the ceiling in a jute sack, "accidentally" dies between one beating and the next, and the police throw the body out of the window. They must, however, find a story that will justify the facts. The superintendant has a plan: to get a madman who is also being detained to be the author of a version that will absolve the police. Meng Jinghui, the director, 35 years old, has got his master degree of direction at the Central Academy of Dramatics in Beijing and now is the most reputed Chinese director of the new generation. He has been cooperating with the Central Experimental Theatre Company for many years. His most famous works as director are: "The Bald Singer" by Ionesco, "Waiting for Godot, by Beckett", "The balcon", by Genet, "Woyzek" by Büchner. The Academy, which depends directly on the Ministry of Culture of the Popular Republic of China, was founded in 1956. Some works in repertory: "The Peach Flower Fan"; "Desiring the Profane" (directed by Meng Jinghui); "La storia di AhQ"; and "Harlequin, Servant of Two Masters".
